We are a grades 1–9 school with modern Montessori pedagogy located in central Kristianstad. We are looking for a new colleague to join our middle school and upper secondary levels, where the relationship between students and staff is paramount. Approximately 432 students attend our school.

We are currently seeking you who have a strong commitment to developing modern Montessori pedagogy in the subject of music. At a Montessori Mondial school, the teacher is expected to have prepared the learning environment for the students or the student group they are responsible for.

This entails:

• Ensuring that the materials students need are available and in place.
• Creating an appealing and clear environment, meaning it is orderly and organized.
• Providing a learning environment with various opportunities for workstations.
• Ensuring the environment allows students to move around the classroom without disturbing their peers.

As an educator, you should build clear and professional relationships with all your students, act as a leader in the classroom, and have high expectations for student learning.

We are looking for someone qualified to teach music at the middle and upper secondary levels. You should be calm, systematic, clear, and low-affective in your interactions with students, truly believing that they do their best when they can. You are well-versed in our governing documents, and the students' learning and the development of teaching are your primary and greatest focus, in harmony with the students' well-being. Collaborating in work teams is second nature to us, and we make each other better.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach music.

You are energized by contributing to others' learning and creating conditions for learning to take place. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. You can balance different demands and maintain calm in difficult situations. You have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals.
