We are looking for an engaged special educator who builds good relationships and is skilled at coaching and motivating others.

The role includes, in addition to supporting students and mentoring teachers, work within the school's student health team (EHT).

We would prefer that you have experience working with high school students who need extra support in Swedish.

Helsingborgs Sportgymnasium is a small independent upper secondary school that has been providing education for over 20 years. We enjoy movement and health issues, and this permeates our operations.

We offer two national programs: Social Science and Child and Youth Culture, as well as the IM-program (Individual Alternative). There are approximately 100 students at the school. The concept of the small school with a big heart means that we get to know and see the individuals we teach.

Description of duties:

You will work individually with students who need support and help of various kinds, for example regarding learning and reading strategies. As part of the school's EHT team, you will also work with assessments and action plans, and participate in EHT meetings together with the other representatives from the student health service.

Personal qualities:

You are receptive and interested in how other people think, and you have a good ability to stimulate, motivate, and collaborate with others.

Scope of the position:

3 hours/week
