The Role

Mumindalen Preschool is located in Klågerup, in the middle of a quiet residential area. Its proximity to Malmö and Lund, as well as newly built housing areas, makes it an attractive option for families with children.

The preschool has access to fantastic green areas and features a large, lush courtyard. We have the opportunity to work outdoors all day and be very close to nature. The preschool also has fire pits, offering possibilities beyond the ordinary.

We work with an inquiry-based approach where children and teachers jointly shape the operations towards set goals. Joy, creativity, and exploration should be prominent in our activities. Through mindful presence during play, we ensure that the children receive teaching and education throughout the day.

We are currently recruiting a substitute preschool teacher. As a preschool teacher with us, you have overall responsibility for the children's development and learning. You will be part of an exciting development process focusing on play and language work through collegial learning. You will have excellent conditions to perform your role, including time for reflection, documentation, and planning, both collaborative planning and team reflection, as well as competent support functions such as a special needs educator at the preschool, development leader, ICT support, senior lecturer, language team, and guidance from the Family Team.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher. It is an advantage if you have competence and/or experience in play groups, literacy, and language teaching in preschool.

You want to develop teaching and education through mindful presence in children's play, have access to your own playfulness, and are passionate about children's influence. Your joy of work spreads through great engagement and genuine interest in the profession. For you, it is important to create the best conditions for children's learning and development in a preschool characterized by curiosity and innovation. You have good ability to collaborate in teams, thrive with trusting leadership, and contribute strong communication skills.

With the children's best interests in focus, you see teaching and education as a coherent whole. You meet new challenges with courage and curiosity, while wanting to continue developing in your professional role. You are driven by developing work processes, pedagogical content, and learning environments, as well as strengthening children's influence and participation.
