Skanörs School, Skanörsgården, and Skanörs Preschool together form the Skanörs Principal's Area – a safe and cohesive operation for children and students of all ages.

Here, approximately 90 dedicated employees work, and we have around 550 children and students distributed across our three units.

Skanörs School is beautifully located in the heart of Skanör, with proximity to both the sea and nature-rich surroundings. The school is a two-stream F-9 school (grades 0-9) with a good study environment and high ambitions. RESPONSIBILITIES

At Skanörs School, we work together to create a safe, inclusive, and developing learning environment for all our students. We are now looking for an engaged and certified teacher in English and Swedish for a longer temporary position with the possibility of extension.

As a teacher with us, you are responsible for the planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching in accordance with the current curriculum. You teach students in Swedish and English and work purposefully to promote their knowledge development and love for learning.

You are part of a work team where collaboration is a natural part of everyday life. Together with colleagues, subject groups, and the student health team, you contribute to developing teaching and creating good conditions for every student. In collaboration with other teachers, you are responsible for the students' knowledge development and for driving the pedagogical work forward towards set goals.

The role also includes mentoring, supporting, and challenging students in their individual learning processes. Mentorship, parent contacts, and active participation in the school's joint development work are natural parts of the assignment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications in English and Swedish.

Previous teaching experience is an advantage.

As a person, you take independent responsibility for your tasks, both in good times and bad, and actively contribute to the common result. You are solution-oriented, dare to make decisions, and have the ability to see opportunities. You take responsibility for your actions, learn from experiences, and work structured with a good ability to meet set timeframes.

You have a high degree of sense of responsibility and work in accordance with the school's steering documents. You are well-versed in these and plan, implement, and follow up your teaching based on them. You adapt easily to changed conditions and collaborate smoothly and without hierarchy with others.

You have a good ability to create and develop relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues. You contribute to collegial learning by sharing your knowledge, being open to others' ideas, and working actively in work teams.

You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and adapt your communication based on the recipient. You ensure your message gets through by being clear, listening actively, and asking clarifying questions.
