As one of our employees is leaving Fågelbacksskolan for another assignment, we are looking for a new colleague who wants to help develop craft education (slöjd) together with qualified colleagues. In addition to participating in the subject team and the development of craft teaching, you will share mentorship duties with a colleague in a year 9 class, where you maintain continuous contact with your mentees and their guardians. You are also part of a work team where you collaborate to develop each student and the teaching methods.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are qualified and certified as a craft teacher (slöjd) for years 7–9. You will teach in textile, wood, and metal crafts. Previous experience as a teacher is considered an asset. You are well-versed in the school's governing documents and have a good ability to translate these documents into practice, as well as maintaining an investigative approach to your practice.

To fit into the collegium, you see the mentorship role as a given. As a person, you see only opportunities, whether it concerns relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians, or daring to challenge yourself in teaching and trying new paths so that students succeed as well as possible. You are a natural leader in the classroom but never forget how important leadership is in the hallways as well. You easily create good and trust-inspiring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
