Your Role

Your responsibilities will consist of teaching Spanish to students who have chosen this subject in their language options. The role includes planning, evaluation, and documentation, as well as other duties inherent to the teaching profession. You will work at Silviaskolan, which is specially adapted with smaller teaching groups, hearing technology, and an excellent acoustic and lighting environment, as well as at Grönängsskolan, which is a preschool to year 6 school.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach Spanish in years 6–9. Experience and competence in working with students with hearing impairments are meritorious. If you lack experience, you will receive further training that will give you the opportunity to grow in the role.

As a person, you are sensitive to each student's conditions and needs. Naturally, you are passionate about students' development and learning. At the same time, you are secure and stable, contributing to new thinking and creativity. You contribute to a positive collaborative climate at the workplace and are good at collaborating and building good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians.

You are well-rooted in the school's governing documents and actively participate in pedagogical development work and collegial learning processes, while creating conditions for every child's learning and development.

You will use Schoolsoft as a tool for documentation and student and parent contacts.

About Us

The Child and Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's preschools, comprehensive schools, upper secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and get to be their best. The Administration's task is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations and to work for coordination between school and working life.

Silviaskolan is a regional preschool to year 9 comprehensive school for students with hearing impairments, preferably children with hearing aids or cochlear implants. Approximately 80 students from about 25 municipalities attend the school. The school is specially adapted to meet the students' needs. The school is centrally located and within walking distance from the bus and railway station in Hässleholm.

Grönängsskolan F-6, with approximately 250 students distributed between school and leisure center, is located adjacent to the green area of Hässleholmsgården, which is used extensively in various parts of the school's operations. The school's pedagogical holistic idea involves close collaboration between staff, children/students, and guardians in various areas such as genre pedagogy and value-creating learning.
