Svalövs Montessori is looking for a Swedish teacher for grades 8–9.

As a Swedish teacher, you will be part of one of Storskolan’s teaching teams (grades 6–7 or 8–9). Storskolan has 110 students. Swedish instruction is delivered in both subject-specific homogeneous groups and mixed-subject groups, facilitating extensive collegial collaboration. A significant part of our teaching is based on the Montessori principle of "the competent child," meaning that instruction should largely be experience-based and interactive.

The position can be combined with teaching German, for which several contract options are available (e.g., 50% Swedish + 25% German, plus 25% co-teaching).

We are looking for you with experience in teaching and grading in Swedish. You should hold a teacher’s license and have relevant professional experience. Knowledge of Montessori pedagogy is a plus.

Svalövs Montessori has been in operation since 1976 and is today a clear alternative with a positive belief in experience-based learning. We are an economic association, a so-called parent cooperative, with no profit distribution. For the 2026–2027 academic year, we have just over 270 children from preschool through lower secondary school.
