At Universitetsholmen Upper Secondary School, we are looking for a vocational teacher to teach in one of our apprenticeship programs: the Care and Nursing program. Job Responsibilities

As a vocational teacher, you work to ensure that students develop their full potential – both academically and socially. You support, motivate, and stimulate each student to meet the knowledge requirements based on their prerequisites, preparing them for their upcoming professional roles. Your work includes planning, teaching, and assessment, as well as evaluating and developing the pedagogical activities in accordance with the school's guidelines.

We are a learning organization that promotes knowledge exchange, placing you in an environment characterized by collegial learning and development. Together with colleagues, you work to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff. You also contribute to the school's quality and development work.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Trained vocational teacher with eligibility to teach in the relevant subject/area. Alternatively, a completed education in the relevant subject/area at upper secondary or post-secondary level, as assessed by the employer.
• Several years of professional experience from the relevant industry and very good subject-specific knowledge.
• Experience using digital tools for communication and pedagogy.
• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits:

• Experience in teaching and/or supervision.
