Description

Västerby Preschool is newly built and centrally located with close proximity to nature, and is part of the Nord preschool area. Västerby Preschool is built for the children and their joy of exploration. Learning environments such as construction and design, atelier, drama and role-play, as well as nature and technology, are available both indoors and outdoors. This allows children to continue their exploration and learning in these environments regardless of whether they are inside or outside; furthermore, the forest is part of the grounds. Västerby Preschool works project-based, with children's curiosity and questions in focus. We use many different materials and aesthetic forms of expression to create creativity and give all children the opportunity to communicate, create, experiment, play, and learn.

In Götene Municipality, we have ongoing development work where pedagogical specialists play a significant role in strengthening educators in their work to make children's processes visible, primarily through bi-weekly reflection supervision. In recent years, we have invested in collegial learning and see this as a successful method to increase awareness and strengthen educators in their professional roles.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool assistant, you are part of a work team, and we assume you enjoy being a leader and interacting with the children. You are conscious with a child's perspective in focus. You will collaborate with other educators and share responsibility for developing the learning environment and equality within our preschool, guided by the curriculum and municipal goals. Pedagogical documentation is an important part of the work; through it, we see the learning processes of the child group and the educators.

Qualifications

Trained preschool assistant. As a person, you are creative, driven, engaged, positive, and eager to develop our shared pedagogical mission. You are a curious and dedicated team player who values collegial learning and the creation of relationships with colleagues, children, and guardians.

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Conditions
