Special Needs Teacher for Rydskolan – Skövde

Job Responsibilities

We plan to strengthen our student health team with an additional special needs teacher, preferably with a focus on mathematics, although Swedish is also of interest to us. Today, we have a special educational needs coordinator and two special needs teachers who together form a strong team, but we see a need to invest even more in special educational support at Rydskolan.

As a special needs teacher with us, you work closely with students. Together with another special needs teacher, you are also responsible for assessments and analysis meetings. However, the special educational needs coordinator is responsible for pedagogical assessments (we use the DF Respons program for this purpose) which form the basis for action plans, as well as the action plans themselves. You are a key cog in the strategic work of the student health team, and together with the deputy principal and the special educational needs coordinator, you lead analysis meetings every week.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for you who have a special needs teacher education, but we are also interested in candidates who are currently studying to become one or have many years of experience in the teaching profession.

Employment type: Permanent position.

To begin working in preschool, school, after-school centers, and other pedagogical activities, you are required to show an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and can be ordered from the National Police Board at www.polisen.se.
