Description

At Utbynässkolan, we are now looking for an engaged after-school center teacher who wants to be part of our fantastic team.

Utbynässkolan is a preschool class to year 3 school (F-3) with approximately 200 students and around 25 employees, including the Student Health Team (EHT). It is a small and safe school with close proximity to nature and our school forest. The premises have been newly renovated with a completely new school cafeteria and sports hall. The schoolyard has also recently been upgraded with new play equipment. At the school, we have an open climate, and together with our ambitious students and engaged parents, we collaborate with a clear goal-oriented approach to create safety and well-being for the students.

Job Responsibilities

As an after-school center teacher, you will, together with your work team, plan, implement, and follow up on a meaningful and developmental after-school activity for our youngest students. You create an environment that stimulates, challenges, and sparks the desire to learn, while giving students the opportunity to influence and participate in their daily lives.

During the school day, you are attached to a preschool class where you, together with preschool teachers, play an important role in supporting the students' development and learning. The work team consists of engaged after-school pedagogues and preschool teachers who together shape the teaching based on each student's needs and prerequisites.

Welcome to a workplace where ideas are welcome and where we together create a safe, creative, and educational environment for our students. Here, we care for each other, support each other in everyday life, and contribute to a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified after-school center teacher and want to help develop a business where the students' curiosity, participation, and learning are at the center. Competence in music and previous experience working with children with functional variations are meritorious.

We are looking for you who are flexible and have an easy time adapting to changed circumstances, new information, and varying demands. You see opportunities in change and can quickly adjust both work methods and attitudes. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing and express yourself clearly and appropriately according to the recipient, target group, and situation.

You are a good team player who contributes to a positive work climate through attentiveness, willingness to collaborate, and focus on the common mission. Your work style is structured – you set clear goals, plan well in advance, organize your work efficiently, and ensure that tasks are carried out and followed up.

Does the above description fit you? We warmly welcome your application!

Selection and interviews take place on an ongoing basis.

The position is subject to the condition that it is not claimed for internal reasons.

Other

As an employee in our administration, you are offered among other things a wellness allowance, a bike benefit, and employee support.

According to the Education Act, extracts from the police record must be presented by persons before they are employed in preschool activities, school, and school-age recreation.

In connection with this recruitment, we have taken a stand on recruitment channels and therefore decline further offers of competence mediation, advertising, and recruitment assistance.

We only accept applications via our recruitment system in accordance with GDPR.
