About Us

Tingbergsskolan is a preschool-to-grade 6 school located in Lödöse, close to a commuter station, bus stop, and forests and nature that we use as a natural part of our operations. Approximately 400 students attend the school, where around 50 dedicated employees work. The after-school center has approximately 200 enrolled students distributed across three departments.

Your Role

Do you want to help create a safe, developmental, and meaningful school day for our students? We are now looking for a qualified leisure-time teacher for a temporary position in our preschool class.

In this role, you will be part of a dedicated team where collaboration, participation, and the student's best interests are at the center. Your main task will be to work closely with a student in need of special support and contribute to creating good conditions for learning, development, and well-being.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide support to a student in need of special support during the school day.
• Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and developmental learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, after-school staff, student health services, and guardians.
• Support the student's social, communicative, and pedagogical development.
• Actively participate in the team's joint work regarding the student's learning and well-being.

Areas of Responsibility and Expectations:

• Be a safe and present adult in the student's daily life.
• Work from a low-affective and inclusive approach.
• Contribute to good collaboration within the team.
• Help ensure the activity is characterized by safety, participation, and good relationships.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, responsible, and wants to make a difference for students in need of support.

Requirements:

• Qualified teacher in leisure-time pedagogy (fritidshem).
• Good ability to create safe and trusting relationships with students.
• Ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues.
• Good digital competence and experience using digital tools in a safe and flexible way in daily life.

Merits:

• Experience with Sign Support (TAKK) and/or Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
• Experience working in adapted primary schools.
• Experience working with students with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF).
