Sotenäs School is now looking for an engaged and skilled teacher in science subjects and Spanish for grades 7–9.

As a teacher, you plan, implement, and follow up on teaching with a focus on high quality and good goal achievement. You are part of a work team where collaboration, collegial learning, and a clear student focus are central parts of daily life.

Responsibilities

In the role of teacher in Spanish and Science, you will:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in your subjects.
• Adapt teaching based on students' different needs and prerequisites.
• Create a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment where students are involved.
• Build and maintain good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
• Work purposefully to ensure every student reaches as far as possible in their knowledge development.
• Use digital tools as a natural part of teaching.
• Actively contribute to the school's development work and collegial learning.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a certified teacher with eligibility in Spanish and Science for grades 7–9.
• Have good pedagogical insight and can adapt teaching to meet students' needs.
• Are confident in your leadership and create study quietness and engagement in the classroom.
• Are structured, self-initiative, and take responsibility for your assignment.
• Have the ability to work with a goal- and result-oriented approach.
• Are relationship-building and contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.
• Enjoy collaborating and sharing experiences with colleagues.
