Ekdalaskolan is a secondary school (grades 7–9) with approximately 300 students located centrally in Mölnlycke. The connections to our school are good, and it takes approximately 15 minutes by bus from Korsvägen in Gothenburg.

Your assignment

We now need a craft teacher (slöjd) with qualifications in both craft subjects. The position is a temporary assignment during the 2026–2027 school year at 45%, as our regular craft teacher is on parental leave. The assignment involves teaching craft in grades 7–9. You will be part of work team 7.

Requirements for the position

You, as the applicant, are a certified teacher for the later years of compulsory school. You have good didactic competence in your subject. You should be able to work digitally and be able to work through many different paths to learning.

You have an inclusive approach and meet each student based on individual prerequisites and needs in differentiated teaching. You use formative assessment so that students develop.

You are an engaged and flexible pedagogue with good collaboration skills, a positive approach, and you are secure in the school's value base. You have the ability to create good encounters and to interact with students, guardians, and colleagues.

It is meritorious if you are qualified in several subjects at the secondary level. Depending on which subject qualifications you have, there may be an opportunity for a higher degree of employment.

Great importance will be attached to education, experience, and personal suitability such as approach and collaboration skills.

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police's criminal record register must be presented. An extract from the suspicion register may also become relevant depending on the position.
