Järpås School is a rural school offering activities from preschool class to grade 6. At the school, we use digital tools as a natural part of the students' learning. Job Description

Your main task is to challenge students in their learning and support the student's knowledge development towards set goals together with colleagues in the work team. In addition to planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching, you will work together with colleagues in the work team to develop the school based on prioritized development areas and the unit's improvement work.

Who are you?

You are a certified teacher in leisure time centers (fritidshem). Your ability to create good, trust-based relationships with students and guardians is a prerequisite.

We are looking for you who are well acquainted with the subjects' purposes, abilities, and knowledge requirements and are well versed in the leisure time center's and school's view of knowledge and value-based mission. You have good knowledge and competence in digital and formative learning processes.

You have the ability to motivate and create situations that contribute to meaningful learning and learning environments characterized by inclusion, variation, and interactivity. You have the ability to see and meet each student and base your approach on what works, as well as having broad leadership and stimulation in teaching.

You see opportunities in working cross-curricularly in collaboration with others. Your learning in collegial learning is a given. You reflect on and analyze your own teaching as a natural part of your practice. You have a great commitment in the learning room and take great responsibility in the work. You are interested in developing teaching to become more meaningful, understandable, and manageable so that we achieve the effect that students become more curious and want to learn more.

You have very good ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are communicative and creative. We would like you to be able, willing, and brave to think and try new things together with others.

Selection and interviews may take place continuously during the application period.

We apply individual and differentiated salary setting. For the position, the monthly salary is between 35,000 and 40,000 SEK, depending on experience, education, and competence.

Conditions

Permanent 100% position starting August 3, 2026.

Certificate of Good Conduct

Before offering employment, you as a candidate are required to show a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) for work in any of the following areas; school or preschool, work with children in other activities than school and childcare, work with children according to LSS, work at or in connection with HVB homes (residential homes for youth), work with the elderly or persons with disabilities. You order the extract via the Police website. The extract must be presented before employment can begin.
