Teacher in Textile Crafts at Science City School

RESPONSIBILITIES

The upcoming Science City School is now looking for a teacher in textile crafts. The position is initially located at Eriksdal School, and when we move into the new school during the 2026/27 academic year, the position will move with us. Currently, our upper secondary level at Eriksdal School has approximately 160 students, and we have just over 25 staff members.

The incoming teacher in textile crafts will have significant influence on the procurement and planning of the textile craft rooms at Science City School. You will be involved in building our learning environments and shaping the pedagogical ideas that will underpin our future work. The operational concept of Science City School is as follows:

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified teacher with a specialization in crafts (slöjd).

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: 6 months or longer.

To begin working in preschool, school, after-school centers, and other pedagogical activities, you are required to show an extract from your criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and can be ordered from the National Police Board (www.polisen.se (https://www.polisen.se)).
