About Us

Nolskolan is a preschool to year 6 school with approximately 300 students and just over 40 dedicated employees. We are centrally located in Nol with good connections between Nödinge and Älvängen.

With us, you become part of a strong school area together with Himlaskolan, which gives you even more colleagues, perspectives, and opportunities for collaboration.

We work in three work teams:

Recreation center, Preschool-Year 3, and Year 4-6

Our student health team is well-developed and consists of a special needs educator, special teacher, counselor, school nurse, school psychologist, and principal, all to create the best possible support for both students and staff.

Future Focus in Teaching

At Nolskolan, we integrate Agenda 2030 and the global sustainability goals into teaching. We want to give our students the tools to make conscious and sustainable choices in their daily lives. We also value movement, activity, and cultural projects with a focus on singing and music. Agenda 2030 and sustainable development, movement and health, culture, singing, and music. Digital tools are a natural part of teaching.

Your Role

A teacher for the work team in years 4–6 in a subject teacher role.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • is a certified teacher in years 4-6, preferably with qualifications in English and Science
  • has a strong commitment to students' learning and development, both academically and socially
  • is a secure and clear leader who creates structure, study peace, and good relationships

You:

  • work consciously with dialogue and student participation to strengthen learning
  • use digital tools with a clear pedagogical purpose and see opportunities with digitalization. At Nolskolan, all students have their own computer, and you see digitalization as an opportunity to develop teaching
  • have an inclusive approach and the ability to meet students based on their different needs
  • are a natural team player who contributes to collegial learning and the school's common development
  • are curious, reflective, and want to develop in your profession
  • work formatively and have high expectations of students' abilities
