Join our dedicated language department and teach and inspire our students in Spanish in accordance with the Swedish National Curriculum (LGR 22). Here, you will have the opportunity to teach in an interdisciplinary context where commitment, tradition, and creativity permeate everything we do. We are currently seeking a qualified teacher in Spanish combined with at least one other subject.

About Us

Ebba Petterssons Privatskola is a school operated as a non-profit foundation. We are a preschool to grade 9 school (F–9) with approximately 650 students and have a long history as one of Gothenburg's oldest primary schools.

Since the early 2000s, the school has been located in Järnbrott and is characterized by a culture where our traditions and core values permeate the operations: safety, pride, commitment, development, and joy. Here, we work together to create an stimulating and safe learning environment where students' curiosity and creativity can thrive.

About the Position

The position involves teaching Spanish primarily at approximately 45 %, distributed over four days. It can be combined with another subject, such as English and/or Mathematics. You will plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching, and collaborate closely with colleagues in work teams and subject groups.

The position also includes mentorship duties.

The workload is 50–100 %, depending on the subject combination.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• is certified in Spanish and at least one additional subject
• has experience teaching in grades 4–9
• creates structure, safety, and a conducive learning environment in the classroom
• collaborates well with colleagues and contributes to the school's development
• is flexible, committed, and solution-oriented
