In Trollhättan Municipality, we offer special education groups as part of the Student Health Service's combined support efforts. The activity is aimed at students in need of special support who benefit from a smaller and more adapted learning environment.

About the role

As a teacher in a special education group, you work closely with students on their knowledge and social development. You become part of an engaged team where collaboration, structure, and relationship-building are in focus.

Teaching is conducted in smaller groups with a higher staff-to-student ratio, providing good opportunities to meet each student's individual needs. The activity is characterized by clear routines, predictability, and a solution-focused approach.

Your responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on students' individual needs.
• Create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with the Student Health Service, guardians, and other professionals regarding student development.
• Contribute to developing the pedagogical work and learning environment of the activity.
• Strengthen students' prerequisites to reach as far as possible based on their abilities.

We are looking for you who

• Are a certified teacher in Mathematics/Science (Grades 7-9).
• Have experience working with students in need of special support.
• Are secure, flexible, and have a low-affective and relational approach.
• Have good skills in creating structure and clarity in teaching.
• Enjoy collaborating in interdisciplinary teams.
