We are looking for a teaching substitute for the autumn term, grades 4-6, at Alboskolan in Skepplanda.
At Alboskolan, we invest in student health and are also involved in a project to strengthen parental health in the local area. The school holds continuous Student Health Meetings (EHM) where the work team meets with the student health team.
Alboskolan, located in central Skepplanda, is characterized by good cohesion, high competence, and a strong belief that we make each other better. The school currently has 200 students. Alboskolan has close cooperation with Garnvindeskolan F-3, which is located 500 meters away.
We are looking for teachers who enjoy working in teams and who document their work digitally. For us, it is important that you are a clear leader in the classroom. We are looking for you who want to make a difference for the students every day.
You plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching in accordance with the curriculum, Lgr-22, and the organization's goals. You also need to be familiar with the Education Act 2010:800.
You need to be comfortable motivating students to engage in teaching.
You will lead all art lessons for the intermediate school level, three parallel classes, and serve as an extra teacher and substitute to fill out a full-time position.
Collaboration with colleagues and parents is a given to support student progress. Together in the collegium, we constantly work to develop and help students reach further.
During the intermediate school years, students develop from being children to taking the step into early adolescence, and you have an important role in stimulating students' knowledge development and supporting them in their personal development during this period.
We are looking for you who have teacher certification or equivalent education with eligibility to teach art, and preferably eligibility in core subjects for grades 4-6.
To thrive in the role, you need to be a clear and flexible leader with an inclusive leadership style. You are an engaged employee who has good collaboration skills and creates security and trust by building good relationships and listening to students' different needs. You meet each student at their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage student learning, inclusion, participation, and influence. You will work at a school that actively works with digital tools and teacher resources, so you need to have good IT skills.
At Alboskolan, we value the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We believe that you want to develop in your role as a teacher and work systematically to improve teaching quality and contribute to the school's continued development.
Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
