About Us

Tingbergsskolan is a primary school (grades F–6) located in Lödöse, close to a commuter train station, bus stop, and surrounded by forests and nature, which we use as a natural part of our operations. The school has approximately 400 students and employs around 50 dedicated staff members. The after-school center has about 200 enrolled students distributed across three units.

Together, we work to create a safe, meaningful, and educational school experience for all students. We have high expectations for both students and staff, and we believe in every individual's potential to develop and reach their full capabilities.

Your Role

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing teaching based on the curriculum and the students' needs. You lead learning with a focus on preparing students for the next step in their knowledge development through guidance, stimulation, and clear pedagogical leadership.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and follow up on teaching in Swedish, Mathematics, English, and Social Studies for grades 4–6.
  • Create a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching to suit the different needs and prerequisites of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, student health services, and school leadership to develop teaching and strengthen student learning.
  • Actively participate in the school's systematic quality work and development efforts.

  • Take responsibility for ensuring teaching maintains high quality and contributes to students' knowledge development.
  • Be an active part of the work team's joint development work.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the school's continued development and positive work environment.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, responsible, and wants to make a difference in students' learning and development.

Requirements:

  • Teacher certification with eligibility to teach grades 4–6.
  • Eligibility in Swedish, Mathematics, English, and Social Studies.
  • Experience teaching in primary school.
  • Good ability to plan, implement, and follow up on teaching.
  • Good digital competence and experience using digital tools in a safe and flexible manner in teaching.

  • Good collaboration skills and a professional attitude.
  • Structured, flexible, and responsible.
  • Confident in your role and skilled at building relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
  • Proactive and engaged in developing teaching and operations.
