On the outskirts of Lidköping lies Sjölunda School, a brand-new school offering places for 350 students in grades F-6.

About the job

As a Pedagogical Resource, you are a key part of the school's work to create a safe, inclusive, and accessible learning environment for all students, both in teaching, during breaks, and at the after-school center. You work closely with students, both individually and in groups, contributing to giving them the prerequisites they need to develop and reach their goals.

In this role, you collaborate with teachers, special education teachers, the student health team, and other staff to create structure, adaptations, and a positive learning climate. The work is varied and requires both flexibility and the ability to meet students' diverse needs with engagement, clarity, and a solution-focused approach.

Here, you become part of an operation where collaboration, participation, and a shared responsibility for students' development are at the center. We value professional interaction and see every student's strengths and opportunities.

We work from positive behavioral support as an approach, where collegial learning in the resource group is included in the work.

Responsibilities

You work at the individual and group level to support the student's learning process and social interaction. You collaborate closely with teachers and the work team. The work requires great flexibility and a high degree of cooperation with other staff.

Who are you?

You have an education as a youth leader, childcare worker, assistant nurse with a focus on disability, or another equivalent education. We would appreciate it if you have experience working with children or adults with disabilities, especially within schools or after-school centers.

You have a good ability to build relationships with students and colleagues.

The work requires great flexibility, physical mobility, and personal drive in finding adaptations and methods that enable participation and learning. You will work in close collaboration with the school's student health team (EHT), special education teachers, and teaching staff, which places demands on good cooperation skills and communicative competence.

You are well acquainted with the school's view of knowledge and value-based mandate. You have the ability to create inclusive learning environments and motivate students through varied and interactive working methods.

You have good digital competence and can use digital tools to support learning and communication.

We are looking for someone who is creative, solution-focused, and has a strong commitment to students' development. You take responsibility for your work and dare to think new thoughts together with others. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Other

Fixed-term employment at 100% during the school year 2026/2027.

We apply individual and differentiated salary setting. For the position, the monthly salary is between 26,500 and 30,000 SEK, depending on experience, education, and competence.

Police Certificate

Before being offered employment, you as a candidate are required to show an extract from the criminal record register for work in the following areas: school or preschool, work with children in other activities than school and childcare, work with children according to LSS, work at or in connection with HVB homes, work with the elderly or persons with disabilities. You order the extract via the Police website. The extract must be presented before employment can begin.
