Vittra Schools is one of Sweden's leading independent school companies, with 24 preschools and primary schools across the country. Together, we are responsible for approximately 8,000 children and students and employ around 1,000 staff members. We opened our first school in 1993 and have been part of AcadeMedia, the largest education company in the Nordics, since 2008. Vittra is a socially engaged preschool and primary school where children and students learn about themselves and the world. With us, conscious children and students are formed, equipped with the right tools and knowledge to create a better and more sustainable society. We achieve this through our unique pedagogical approach based on three pillars: conscious learning, courageous culture, and clear structure.
Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for you who are a certified and qualified teacher in Mathematics/Science (MA/NO) for grades 7–9. We want you to be a clear leader, and we are seeking a teacher who is experienced in teaching and enjoys developing learning together with other teachers.
At Vittra, you belong to a work team, and we are looking for someone interested in participating in and contributing to collegial learning. Together, we create our learning environment and the culture that should characterize our operations.
What we offer:
Learning and development guide all planned activities, and we work systematically to monitor the quality of everything we do. Therefore, we meet regularly for collegial discussions to reflect on teaching. The students are our most important partners and are constantly present in our development work. This means that we teachers are always responsible for both the teaching and the pedagogical relationship, but everything we do is created in interaction with the students.
We have high expectations of ourselves and our joint work, which is based on collegial learning and the individual needs of the children. Together, we build a safe and challenging environment where everyone – both children and adults – can develop.
