Innovitaskolan consists of 26 preschools and primary schools created to meet the needs of the future. We are looking for a warm and engaged person who wants to work with upper secondary school students (grades 7–9). Together with the school counselor/social pedagogue, you will drive and develop our promoting and preventive work, as well as our important values-based work, to give our students the very best conditions for the future. You will have individual conversations with students to some extent, but primarily work at the group level to provide as many students as possible with tools to develop their various skills for mental and social health. You will participate in our joint student health work, collaborating with various professions.

We are looking for you who want to develop our school together with the principal and the school staff. You have experience working in schools and with young people. We would appreciate it if you could and wanted to support students in their development, be part of our work with students who do not meet the goals, have high absenteeism, or other issues. In the role of counselor/social pedagogue, you will welcome students, guardians, and staff to our school and provide them with a good introduction to the operations. You have an easy time building and maintaining good relationships and gain energy from being active in the daily operations.

You are structured, orderly, thrive in fast-paced environments, are a relationship builder, and enjoy interacting with young people. You hold a Bachelor of Social Work degree or equivalent higher education qualification.

When the pace is high, you have the ability to plan and prioritize your time based on the best interests of the operations and the students. You are interested in your surroundings and are skilled at creating, establishing, and maintaining contacts with students and guardians.

Our counselor is moving on to a new assignment, and our social pedagogue will be on parental leave during the autumn and likely the spring semester of 2027. Start date by agreement. There are two positions: the social pedagogue role is a full-time temporary position, and the counselor role is a permanent part-time position (60%). For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity for a position at another school in Mölndal.
