We are looking for you who want an exciting, developing, and varied job as a personal assistant in Borås.

The work as a personal assistant involves a varied job performed both in and outside the user's home environment. You support and motivate the person at home with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, handling of assistive devices, training, feeding, cooking, medication management, as well as support in daily activities. Handling of epileptic seizures is included in the work.

We are now looking for a female personal assistant for a young adult woman with cognitive and physical disabilities. She has epilepsy and communicates via computer and pictures.

To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you are responsible and have a good understanding of the importance of following agreed routines, job descriptions, and implementation plans. You are punctual, reliable, and can work according to the schedules and working hours required by the operations.

Position to be filled

Daytime 50 % with work every other weekend

Examples of working hours:

• 07.00–16.00
• 08.00–17.00

Evening and night shifts may occur as needed.

Examples of working hours as needed:

• 13.00–21.00
• 16.00–21.00
• 22.00–07.00
• 22.00–08.00

We are looking for you who:

• Have good physical fitness, as there is physically demanding work
• Speak and understand Swedish without difficulty, as you will interpret for the young woman to her surroundings
• Are stable and confident in yourself
• Have a positive attitude towards life and enjoy collaborating

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

The position is 50 % daytime with work every other weekend. Evening and night shifts can be offered as needed and in case of absence in the work group. Possibility of increased employment rate may exist for the right person.

In many assignments, the person entitled to assistance is the employer themselves, while others have appointed a deputy employer. Assignments and roles vary depending on the operation and function.
