Job Description

We are now looking for a FAI Coordinator for an exciting assignment at Saab within Aerospace. In this role, you are responsible for planning, leading, and following up on the implementation of First Article Inspection (FAI) – with the goal of ensuring that products meet all requirements from the start. You will work closely with production, quality, and design, functioning as a key person in building quality into the process early on. Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate FAI activities based on project needs and changes
• Ensure that the correct documentation, data, and prerequisites are available prior to review
• Lead FAI reviews and verify requirements against drawings and documentation
• Handle and follow up on deviations and drive corrective actions
• Document, quality assure, and complete FAI reports according to process

The assignment is full-time, starts immediately, and initially runs for 6 months. You will be employed by NearYou and work as a consultant for our client. The role is located on-site in Linköping.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role, you need:

• At least 1–3 years of full-time experience in production, quality, or manufacturing-related roles, such as quality engineer, production engineer, or similar
• Technical education or equivalent work experience
• Experience with or good understanding of: manufacturing processes, reading drawings and requirement management, control and verification methods

Merits:

• Experience with FAI / First Article Inspection
• Knowledge of EN 9102 or similar standards
• Experience from manufacturing industry
• Experience with change management and industrial processes
