Job Description

Are you looking for a dynamic and developmental consulting assignment where you can combine your analytical skills with a strong drive for digitalization? On behalf of our client, we are now looking for an engaged and business-oriented Business Controller for their operations in Finspång. This is a consulting assignment starting August 3, 2026, until July 31, 2027, where you will become a key person in a cohesive team and work in an international environment with broad contact areas.

Responsibilities

In the role of Business Controller, you are expected to work independently and take significant responsibility for your own processes, while collaborating closely with other commercial functions both locally and globally.

Your main tasks include:

  • Analyzing and understanding income statements and balance sheets, as well as monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) within your area of responsibility (e.g., revenue recognition, gross profit, cash flow, SG&A, and absorption).
  • Presenting the financial situation to management in a transparent, clear, and timely manner.
  • Actively working on closing, budgeting, and forecasting for the local company and business area.
  • Handling project controller tasks as a natural part of the role.
  • Being a supportive partner in financial matters for Business Administration and other commercial functions.
  • Driving the development and digitalization of financial processes.

Qualifications

You have a pronounced analytical ability, are meticulous when required, and have an easy time prioritizing the right things to meet deadlines.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • 3–5 years of experience in Business Controlling, finance, accounting, or equivalent.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent commercial education.
  • Good IT and data skills. You are a very proficient user of MS Excel. Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx is highly meritorious.
  • System understanding: Experience with SAP systems is seen as a great advantage.
  • Language skills: You speak and write both Swedish and English fluently, as you will communicate with both local and global colleagues.
