We are now looking for a Business Controller for our client in Finspång. The assignment is a consultancy role through The Place, starting on August 3, 2026, and initially running until July 31, 2027.

About the role

As a Business Controller, you will become part of a business-oriented and analytical function where you work closely with the operations and management. You are responsible for analyzing and monitoring financial performance and contributing insights that support business decisions.

In this role, you will work with the analysis of income statements and balance sheets, as well as monitoring key performance indicators such as revenue recognition, gross margin, cash flow, and costs. You are responsible for presenting financial status clearly and transparently to management.

You will be involved in closing accounts, budgeting, and forecasting for both the local operations and the business area. The role also includes certain tasks within Project Controlling.

You collaborate closely with Business Administration and other commercial functions, both locally and globally, acting as a support in financial matters. You also contribute to developing and digitizing financial processes.

The work also involves travel within Europe in connection with internal meetings.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Business Controlling, accounting, or a similar field
• University degree in Economics or Business Administration
• Very good knowledge of Excel and experience with data-driven work
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

Meritorious

• Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx
• Experience with SAP
