Operational Controller

We are looking for an Operational Controller who enjoys turning numbers into concrete results. In this central role, you will work closely with operations, customers, and management to ensure resources are used optimally, that decisions are data-driven, and that we continuously improve our working methods.

This role is for you if you are not satisfied with just reporting what happened – you want to understand why it happened and how we can improve moving forward.

You will report directly to the CEO and become a key driver in our work with analysis, digitalization, AI, and business development.

About the Role

As an Operational Controller, you are responsible for creating the conditions for an efficient and profitable operation. You will work both operationally and strategically with planning, follow-up, analysis, and improvements.

A key part of the role is ensuring the right staffing and resource allocation based on operational needs. You will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze results, and identify opportunities to streamline processes through digitalization, automation, and smarter working methods.

We are looking for someone who doesn't wait to be assigned tasks. You proactively identify areas for improvement, take initiative, and drive change. For you, challenges are problems to be solved, not obstacles.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal scheduling and staffing
• Monitor and steer resources in real-time based on operational needs
• Collect, analyze, and visualize data from customer orders and operations
• Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports with analysis and recommendations
• Standardize reporting and follow-up for customers and management
• Monitor productivity, quality, occupancy, and profitability
• Ensure all customer orders are invoiced correctly and on time
• Prepare and quality-assure invoice documentation for the finance department
• Identify areas for improvement and drive development initiatives
• Evaluate and implement AI solutions and automation
• Actively contribute to the company's digital development and future working methods

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in economics, statistics, business development, or equivalent experience
• Experience in controlling, analysis, or business management
• Strong Excel skills and preferably experience with Power BI or similar analysis tools
• Understanding of statistics, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making
• Interest in digital solutions, AI, and automation
