Your Role

We are growing and need more people! We are now looking for a versatile Technical Information Specialist who thrives in a varied daily routine and simultaneously wants to develop further within the field.

You will become part of a technical information team, a tight, flat-hierarchy, and family-like team where we help each other and have fun along the way.

In the role of Technical Information Specialist, your task is to make complex technology understandable. You work with collecting, structuring, and refining information so that it becomes clear, useful, and adapted to the target audience, using both text and images.

Your main responsibilities:

• Create technical documentation, such as instruction manuals, maintenance plans, and maintenance instructions
• Support colleagues in language, structure, and pedagogical writing
• Participate in the delivery process of publications
• Contribute to developing and improving methods and processes within technical information

The role suits you if you like taking responsibility, seeing the big picture, and driving work forward. You have many contact points in complex projects, making your collaboration skills and communication strength crucial.

Since we work in different projects with varying scopes, you need to be flexible and enjoy switching between assignments, regardless of whether it concerns methodology, tools, or complexity.

The position is located in Linköping and assumes that you are willing to work from there.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have experience working within technical information and who are motivated by making technology understandable and accessible.

You are analytical and see connections, while also having an eye for detail and quality. You are solution-oriented, communicative, and have the ability to put yourself in others' perspectives. You thrive both in teams and with taking individual responsibility - sometimes you drive entire assignments from start to finish.

We place great emphasis on your personality, but we would like you to have a post-secondary education, for example as:

• Technical Information Specialist
• Engineer
• Cognitive Scientist

To succeed in the role, you need to be able to immerse yourself in technical material, simplify it, and identify what information is missing to create clear and useful documentation.

We see that you have:

• Very good ability to express yourself in writing in both Swedish and English
• Experience with Simplified Technical English

Meritorious:

• Experience with maintenance equipment in aviation
• Knowledge of S1000D
