Labour Market Coach with Focus on Business

Do you want to make a real difference for people while building strong relationships with employers and the business community? Perhaps you have experience from the business sector and want to use your skills to make a difference for people. Or maybe you already work in the public sector and want to broaden your scope of work by collaborating with the private business sector. With us, you will have a varied role where you move between the public sector and business, building bridges between people and employers.

You now have the opportunity to become part of our labour market unit, where we together drive the work of supporting individuals towards self-sufficiency. A lot is happening in the municipal labour market world right now, and we need to strengthen our unit with a labour market coach with a focus on business. We are a relatively small unit in a relatively small municipality, which means there are good opportunities to help shape the structure and work so that it is best adapted to the individuals who are part of our target group.

Our unit consists of a manager, labour market coaches, supervisors, and an administrator. You will be one of our two labour market coaches. You will work closely together but will also be responsible for your own cases and processes. Your role will focus more on flow-out into work, and this is where we see that you have good skills in establishing contacts in the local business community. A central part of the assignment is to establish and maintain contact with employers, with the aim of creating opportunities for internships, work training, or supported employment, such as wage subsidies. To succeed in the role, it is required that you have an understanding of the opportunities on the labour market and the ability to see the situation from both the job seeker's and the employer's perspective. In short, you will match individuals with existing and new work training, internship, and job placements in and around Valdemarsvik.
