About the Municipal Executive Board Administration
The Municipal Executive Board Administration is responsible for the municipality's strategic management and provides support to the Municipal Executive Board, other committees, and the municipality's operations. The administration consists of the administrative department as well as the departments for finance, HR, and community planning. The library is also located in the municipal house.
The position is located in the administrative department, and you report to the Administrative Manager.
About the assignment
As a Municipal Administrator, you have a central function in the municipality's governance and democratic processes. You work closely with the Municipal Manager, department managers, and the municipality's elected officials, and you plan, coordinate, and ensure the quality of case and decision-making processes.
You are a qualified support to both politics and operations and contribute to ensuring that our decision-making processes are legally secure, efficient, and maintain high quality.
At the same time, you become an important part of the municipality's continued development. We want you to challenge established ways of working, see opportunities for improvement, and drive development together with your colleagues. For the right person, there are great opportunities to put your own stamp on the assignment and help develop both the role and the operations.
Your tasks
In the role, you will among other things:
- Act as secretary for the Municipal Executive Board and its committees.
- Coordinate preparation and case processes from preparation to decision.
- Act as registrar and handle diarization and public records in accordance with current legislation.
- Manage and further develop the municipality's information and case management system, Evolution, together with the Administrative Manager.
- Provide support, advice, and training to managers and employees regarding document and case management.
- Act as election coordinator and secretary for the Election Committee, as well as plan and conduct the municipality's elections.
- Drive and contribute to the development of administrative processes, digitalization, and new ways of working that strengthen the municipality's operations.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
- Have a university education or other post-secondary education that the employer considers relevant.
- Have experience of similar administrative tasks.
- Have good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing.
- Have good IT skills and find it easy to get into new digital systems.
- Can work independently, take own initiative, and drive your work forward.
It is meritorious if you have experience of public administration.
As a person, you are structured, careful, and responsible. You plan and organize your work in an efficient way and have the ability to prioritize when conditions change. You are service-oriented, solution-oriented, and find it easy to create and develop good relationships. The role places high demands on integrity, good judgment, and a professional approach. You contribute to a good working climate and see changes as an opportunity to develop the operations.
