We are now looking for
A temporary Community Planner until February 26, 2027.
About the unit
You will belong to the Community Development unit, which works with issues concerning sustainable community planning and housing. We primarily handle case processing and advisory services, and participate in investigations and development projects within the various areas. There are approximately thirteen employees in the unit. At our workplace, you will have fun, develop professionally, and work together with engaged and competent colleagues and managers. Our work is meaningful and sustainable.
Your responsibilities
The tasks will vary but will mainly consist of handling cases related to municipal built environment planning, primarily detailed planning, handling property formation cases, working with consultations, environmental assessments, and environmental impact descriptions, as well as conducting various information initiatives such as seminars.
Requirements for the position
- At least a three-year university or college degree in community development such as community planner, planning architect, planning engineer, or equivalent as assessed by the employer.
- Experience in the application and knowledge of the Planning and Building Act (PBL).
- Good knowledge of the detailed planning process.
- Experience in community planning in state and/or municipal operations.
- Good skills in expressing yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
- Good skills in reading and understanding map materials.
- Good computer skills. Proficiency in and ability to apply the Office package.
Qualifications
The following qualifications are meritorious:
- State experience in community development issues.
- Experience in the application and/or knowledge of the Property Formation Act.
- Experience in the application and/or knowledge of the Environmental Code.
- Experience in handling and/or knowledge of environmental impact descriptions and environmental assessments.
- Experience working with detailed plans and land survey issues.
- Experience working cross-sectorially.
- Experience working with GIS.
- Experience working in digital case management systems.
- Experience in case handling.
- Category B driver's license.

Good teamwork skills and a service-oriented attitude are very important for the position. It is also important that you have a holistic view and are stable, clear, and structured. You should also enjoy working both independently and in a group. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Employment terms
This is a temporary position until February 26, 2027. Start date by agreement, preferably as soon as possible.
