You step into a role where you drive the business in projects central to the energy transition. This is not just about numbers, but about understanding the bigger picture.

You are responsible for the commercial and financial aspects of the project, from contracts and risk to follow-up and profitability. Together with the technical project manager, you form the core of the project leadership and represent the business in dialogue with the customer.

This is a role with many touchpoints internally towards functions such as finance, legal, and procurement, and externally towards customers, partners, and financial actors.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you have overall responsibility for the commercial and financial aspects of the project. You work closely with the project leadership and are a key person in ensuring that the business is sustainable, structured, and drives results.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Drive and own the project's commercial business
• Ensure that contracts, terms, and financial structures are adhered to
• Actively work with risks, opportunities, and claim management
• Monitor budget, forecasts, and project profitability
• Ensure correct reporting, accounting, and month-end closing
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

You operate at the intersection of business, project, and finance – where your ability to combine structure with business acumen is crucial for the project's success.

ABOUT YOU

You have a background where you are used to driving work forward and creating structure in a changing environment. You have likely worked in a role close to the business, where communication, coordination, and execution were central parts.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in project management, coordination, or business-oriented roles
• Background in marketing, communication, business, or a similar field
• Ability to work in a structured manner and drive things to completion
• Strong communication skills and experience working with many touchpoints
• Analytical thinking and an interest in follow-up and results
• Fluent English in both speech and writing
