Your Role

Do you have an interest in technology and want to work with quality issues related to procurement in an environment characterized by collaboration and many contact surfaces? Then this might be the role for you!

In this role, you are responsible for ensuring and maintaining a high level of supplier quality within Procurement at Saab Aeronautics. Your main task is to investigate, coordinate, and follow up on deviations and quality problems, with the goal of ensuring that our supplier base delivers high-quality products – especially within the Gripen program.

A significant part of the tasks involves operational case management, where you, among other things, receive, validate, register, follow up, and analyze quality complaints. You also work on developing and creating control plans for Saab's goods receiving inspection.

The role involves close internal collaboration with functions within procurement, engineering, production, and quality. You also serve as a central link between Saab and our international suppliers, tasked with ensuring that deliveries meet established quality requirements.

The role is located within the Supplier Quality Management section, where you report to the Section Manager. You will become part of a team of 12 people with the same or similar job content. Within the section, we work closely together, support each other, and you will be mentored by an assigned supervisor to ensure you have good conditions for learning the new job. The section has a good spread in seniority and broad experience, both within our own operations and from other industries. The location is Linköping Tannefors.

You take great responsibility for planning, prioritizing, and executing your tasks and have a good ability to lead yourself in daily work. At the same time, you are a flexible team player with good collaboration and communication skills. With an analytical and solution-oriented approach, you can see both the details and the big picture.

Requirements for the role

• Previous experience within production, design, quality, or procurement
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Merits

• Civil or university degree in engineering or other technical education in a relevant field
• Knowledge of supplier quality assurance and quality tools
• Knowledge and experience within production processes

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
