RIMASTER Electronics is now looking for an experienced Production Technician/Preparations Specialist who wants to take a central role in the business and contribute to further development in a growing organization.

About the role

As a Production Technician at RIMASTER Electronics, you will have a key role in production with primary responsibility for preparations and production planning. You work on converting customer specifications into clear production documentation and ensuring efficient production flows from prototype and pre-series to finished product.

The role is broad and varied, where you work closely with customers, production, purchasing, and internal functions. You become the natural contact person throughout the entire process and have the opportunity to influence working methods, quality, and delivery reliability.

Your main responsibilities

• Interpret customer specifications and convert them into clear production documentation
• Responsible for preparations and ensuring production has the right prerequisites
• Plan and create operations, work instructions, and production flows
• Participate in quotation work and early production assessments
• Drive pre-series and prototype manufacturing
• Support production during startups and ensure efficient flows
• Act as the link between customer and production
• Handle technical issues and maintain dialogue with customers regarding component selection and production adaptations
• Identify, initiate, and drive improvement work within quality, efficiency, and delivery reliability
• Contribute experience and support less experienced colleagues in the team

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have worked as a Production Technician, Preparations Specialist, or in a similar technical role and feel confident taking responsibility for the entire process, from customer dialogue and planning to production support and improvement work.

To succeed in the role, we believe you have several years of experience from the manufacturing industry and are accustomed to working independently with preparations and production-related questions.

We believe you have:

• Several years of experience as a Production Technician, Preparations Specialist, or equivalent
• Experience from the manufacturing industry
• Good understanding of production flows and production processes
• Experience interpreting technical documentation and drawings
• Experience with business systems in a production environment
• Good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Experience from electronics production or EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services)
• Experience with PCB manufacturing
