Your Role

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to join our quality organization within Aviation Services. As an SQE, you will support our projects, programs, and campaigns with questions regarding supplier quality. You will become part of cross-functional supplier teams together with strategic procurement, operational procurement, and design to ensure long-term supplier support. The department's main focus is to secure deliveries to various programs and projects within Saab, Aviation Services. You will be responsible for maintaining the supplier base and ensuring that suppliers comply with Saab's regulations.

Your responsibilities include:

• Regularly auditing suppliers based on licensing requirements, aviation standards, and contracts
• Managing supplier approvals
• Participating in product and design reviews
• Responsible for executing and following up on requests for root cause analysis and corrective actions at the supplier
• Participating in Saab's supplier teams
• Continuously analyzing, identifying, and initiating changes with a focus on quality
• Quality-assuring suppliers and processes during industrialization projects for new suppliers
• Ensuring compliance with Saab and our customers' quality requirements throughout the supply chain
• Working proactively to anticipate and prevent quality problems at suppliers by working on continuous improvements at the supplier

Regular business travel to our suppliers is included in the role.

Your Profile

To thrive in this role, you enjoy and have the ability to work both independently and in a team, both within the team and across organizational boundaries. You are confident in your ability to build relationships, both internally and with suppliers. As a person, we see that you are unpretentious and responsible, with a high sense of service. In addition to the above personal qualities and competencies, we see that:

• You have a "quality mindset" with experience working according to quality management systems such as EN ISO 9001.
• You have experience working internationally, preferably with suppliers.
• You are fluent in English and Swedish, both in speech and writing.
• It is an advantage if you are trained as a quality auditor.
• It is highly meritorious if you are a certified IRCA Lead Auditor with experience working with regulations in the aviation industry such as EN 9100, EASA Part 21G, EASA Part 145.

The position requires that you undergo and pass the security clearance according to current regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification placement, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
