Your Role

The Special Mission & Regional Aircraft (SMRA) division continues to grow, and we now need to strengthen our project management team with an additional Project Manager.

As a Project Manager in this section, you will primarily work on projects within the civil and military aftermarket concerning the installed fleet of our Saab 340/2000, GlobalEye, and Saab 340/2000 AEW&C. Other developmental project management assignments within SMRA may also occur.

In the role of Project Manager within the aftermarket, you will normally lead between three and five projects in parallel, with durations ranging from a few months to about a year. Therefore, this role suits you if you enjoy a varied daily routine and leading multiple projects simultaneously at a high pace. Due to the nature of these projects, you will have a unique opportunity to gain insight into many aspects of SMRA's operations. You will drive projects in close collaboration with other roles within the division, such as engineers, buyers, hangar personnel, technical writers, and flight test personnel.

As a Project Manager, it is your responsibility to plan, organize, and lead the execution of the project from start to finish, within the given frameworks.

Your daily tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Define and organize the project and establish project plans, including detailed schedules
• Monitor and steer the project towards its defined sub-goals and final goals according to the project plan
• Manage the project's economy and monitor costs
• Work with resource needs and resource allocation in dialogue with line managers
• Manage communication with the project's various stakeholders
• Actively work with risks and opportunities
• Handle prioritization issues
• Ensure a good project climate with good collaboration and motivated project members

Your Profile

To succeed in the role, we believe you:

• Have a few years of experience as a Project Manager
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
• Have a technical understanding, through education or work experience

You thrive in collaborations and have a natural ability to create engagement in others, whether it involves colleagues or other stakeholders.

• Communicative and confident in collaborating closely with other roles
