About the role

As a Specialist Professional - Export Freight Forwarder, you will have a central role in ensuring efficient and high-quality export flows. You are responsible for transport-related issues throughout the entire delivery chain and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that deliveries take place as planned, at the right cost, and in accordance with current regulations.

You will have many points of contact and collaborate with suppliers, transport agents, customer representatives, project managers, material coordinators, buyers, and internal logistics. The role suits you if you appreciate a fast pace where you can combine structure, service, and problem-solving in your daily work.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for, among other things:

• Creating and administering transport documents
• Conducting transport tenders and transport bookings
• Managing ongoing supplier contacts
• Monitoring and following up on deliveries
• Issuing shipping instructions
• Preparing export and customs documents
• Checking and posting freight and forwarding invoices
• Handling transport claims
• Contributing to the development and digitalization of transport and customs processes

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have experience in logistics and international transport flows and who are motivated by creating structure and progress in a business with many parallel processes.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• Relevant higher education and/or several years of experience in logistics, export, or forwarding
• Good knowledge of international transport and customs handling
• Very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
• Experience with contract management, SAP, and Microsoft Office is advantageous
• Additional language skills, such as Spanish, German, or Russian, are a plus

As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and self-initiating. You have a natural ability to build good relationships, collaborate with different stakeholders, and remain calm when conditions change. You work structured even under time pressure and have a good sense of both service and cost-effectiveness.

We also see that you have an interest in sustainability issues and want to contribute to developing more sustainable transport solutions.

About the department

The forwarding department is responsible for all transport and customs-related assignments within both new production and service operations in Finspång. Here, specialists in project, export, and import forwarding work together to ensure efficient and high-quality deliveries worldwide.
