About Schlötter Sweden
Schlötter Svenska AB is an independent subsidiary of the German company Dr.-Ing. Max Schlötter GmbH and is a leading supplier of complete process plants and specialty chemicals for surface treatment and water purification.
We design, construct, and deliver customized solutions to industrial companies in Sweden and internationally. Our projects are primarily located in the Nordic region, but also in Germany and the rest of Europe – a market where we continue to grow.
The operations are run from our offices in Norrköping and Hillerstorp and consist of approximately 25 dedicated employees. Our work environment is characterized by flat hierarchies, close collaboration, and short decision-making paths, giving you significant influence and the opportunity to impact both projects and working methods.
At Schlötter Sweden, you will have the opportunity to drive technically complex and customized projects where no two solutions are alike. Here, you will have overall responsibility throughout the entire project lifecycle – from handover after sales to installation, commissioning, and final delivery.
We are a specialist company with short decision-making paths, high technical competence, and where collaboration and engagement are a natural part of everyday life. We are now looking for a Technical Project Manager who wants to contribute to developing our projects and our continued growth.
As a Technical Project Manager, you have overall responsibility for the execution of projects after the business has been handed over from the sales department. You lead the projects through all phases – from planning and design to installation, commissioning, and final delivery.
You are responsible for ensuring that projects are carried out according to the agreed schedule, budget, and quality, while also serving as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, and partners.
In this role, you often take responsibility for the entire or parts of the mechanical aspects and work closely with the company's other mechanical, electrical, and automation expertise, as well as functions such as purchasing and layout. You report to the Project Director and become part of an experienced project management team where knowledge sharing and collaboration are a natural part of the work.
Since each plant is designed according to the customer's needs, the projects are varied and technically challenging, making the role both developmental and diverse.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Lead projects from order handover to fully commissioned plant.
- Plan, control, and monitor the project schedule, budget, and resources.
- Serve as the technical and commercial contact person for customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Design and construct mechanical parts of the project and further develop the layout.
- Coordinate internal project resources within mechanics, electrical, automation, and purchasing.
- Ensure project quality, economics, and delivery.
- Identify and manage risks and monitor project results.
- Participate in installations, assembly, and commissioning when required by the projects.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who thrives in taking overall responsibility and is motivated by driving technical projects where technology, business, and customer relations go hand in hand.
We believe you have:
- Mechanical engineering education at least at the upper secondary level or equivalent work experience.
- Several years of experience in technical project management.
- Good understanding of all project phases – from planning to delivery.
- Experience from the process industry, mechanical engineering, or other technically advanced operations.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
It is an advantage if you also have:
- Previous experience as a mechanical designer.
- Knowledge of 3D-CAD or 3D modeling.
- Experience with assembly projects.
- Knowledge of German, as we see a growing market in Germany.
