Your Role

In our mechanics section in Linköping, we work broadly – from early technology and product studies all the way to delivered products and further product care. As a Mechanical Design Engineer with us, you will:

• Design and develop mechanical systems in advanced missile products
• Collaborate closely with procurement, production, testing, and external partners
• Be involved in important technical decisions and solutions
• Contribute to achieving our goals – together

Your Profile

You are a team player who thrives on responsibility and likes to drive your work forward. You have a genuine interest in technology and are happy to share your knowledge – while being curious to learn more.

We believe you have:

• A university degree or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• A few years of experience in mechanical design and product development
• Experience with a 3D CAD tool
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written

The position requires you to undergo and pass security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
