Your Role

The Flight Test Division is responsible for the test, verification, and validation of newly developed, modified, and newly produced products through ground, simulator, and flight tests. We are looking to strengthen the area responsible for the development, management, and operation of measurement and software systems for flight test operations.

You will work as a Measurement Engineer, becoming part of the team that provides the division's test engineers with daily measurement services in test aircraft and rigs. The work group is characterized by good cooperation and lack of hierarchy, where everyone helps out where needed.

You will be involved from the start in commissioning the measurement systems in newly produced test aircraft. You will work together with other measurement engineers to ensure that the test aircraft's measurement systems are usable for current operations. The job is service-oriented with many contacts and great variation in daily life. You will also participate in various measurement technical investigations together with other measurement engineers and the area's system engineers. In addition to working with measurement systems in test aircraft, the team is also responsible for measurement systems in several rigs.

The operations are sometimes intense, and therefore work during evenings/weekends may occur. Work in other locations, both in Sweden and abroad, occurs during limited periods.

You are meticulous and have the ability to plan your work well both in the short and long term, while also having the ability to adapt yourself and your working methods to new conditions.

We believe you are educated as a high school or university engineer with an electrical engineering focus or have acquired equivalent technical knowledge in other ways. If you have measurement technical experience, it is advantageous. Being able to express yourself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English is a requirement based on the tasks you are expected to perform.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the currently valid regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
