Your Role

We are now looking for a knowledgeable and practical employee for our battery workshop in our flight test hangar in Tannefors.

As a battery technician, you work close to the technology. Here you will have a daily routine with a good balance between practical work in the workshop and structured follow-up in our MPS systems. Here you work hands-on with batteries and troubleshooting, while documentation and analysis are a natural part of the day – creating clear structure, quality, and variety in the work. You collaborate closely with colleagues and have ongoing contact with both internal and external customers.

Main responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and follow up on battery work according to set timeframes
• Handle batteries and coordinate related transport
• Ensure that measuring equipment is checked, maintained, and calibrated
• Analyze and document technical results in the MPS system
• Work on continuous improvements

During periods of lower workload, you are expected to support other parts of the operations. Business travel may occur, both within and outside Sweden.

To succeed in the role, we believe you have:

• Good knowledge of electrical engineering
• Experience with the Gripen system
• Experience working with computers and documentation
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Advantageous with knowledge of systems such as IFS

We work closely together to develop the operations in the right direction towards our jointly developed goals. You will become part of a group where we constantly work on creating a good working environment and getting closer to each other. We have several well-being activities together in the area and also jointly with the department.

The position requires that you undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
