We are now looking for a Flight Technician who wants to work with one of the market's most advanced unmanned helicopter platforms. Here, you will become part of an operational team where you combine technical maintenance with field work during test flights, demonstrations, and the development of future flight systems.Flight Technician at UMS Skeldar:You will be part of the Flight Operations department, consisting of 25 team members whose main focus is to conduct functional tests, test flights, demonstration flights, type training, and delivery to customers. As a flight technician, you will work in operational teams together with remote pilots and flight test engineers. You will be involved in both maintenance and flying, where the technician has an active role.
You will start your position with training where you will learn the systems from the ground up. As you become more independent, you will have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility and eventually participate in the training we provide for our customers. Here you will find a dynamic workplace that alternates between our facility in Linköping and our flight operational areas.
In the role of Flight Technician, you will:
- Become a technical expert on our complex Skeldar V200.
- Modify, functionally test, and implement customer-specific adaptations on helicopters, ground stations, and other related systems within mechanics and electronics.
- Maintain helicopters, ground stations, and other related systems.
- Be out in the field with our operational team during test flights, internal and external training, and demonstrations.
- Support our suppliers and customers with expertise when such situations arise.

To succeed in this role, we see that you are a trained technician (B1). It is an advantage if you have a helicopter certificate B1.3 or B1.4. Knowledge of electrical installations and/or a B2 license is advantageous.
This position requires high proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
A category B driver's license is required. BE and C/C1 driver's licenses are advantageous.
