Your Role

In the role of Systems Engineer with a focus on maintenance planning and technical orders, you will have responsibility within the area of continued airworthiness concerning various aircraft systems. You will work on developing operator-specific maintenance plans and technical orders for one or more different systems, primarily aircraft systems.
The tasks involve, among other things, the Swedish Armed Forces' aircraft systems, and the work is performed wholly or partly within FMV and the Swedish Armed Forces' IT systems, such as Teamcenter.
You will belong to the CAMO and Logistic Services Department within the Aeronatics business area and our team, which provides both technical and chemical support to our customers. The Aeronatics business area is an innovative provider of world-class aircraft systems and offers a wide range of support solutions within civil and military aviation. Within the business area, research, development, and production of military aircraft systems are conducted, as well as future studies as preparation for future manned and unmanned aircraft systems and further development of existing products.
The CAMO and Logistic Services Department consists of six sections and has approximately 120 employees located in Linköping, Arboga, Såtenäs, Järfälla, Luleå, Växjö, and Uppsala.
The position involves some travel, primarily domestic.
Your Profile
We see that you have at least a high school education in a relevant field and have worked for a few years in the aviation industry.
Qualifications for the position:
- Education in aerospace engineering or higher education in a relevant field, e.g., aerospace engineer.
- Worked for a few years with aircraft maintenance or otherwise related to continued airworthiness.
- Experience in maintenance planning and interpretation of maintenance directives in the role of material planner, technical accounting equivalent within CAMO, and/or documentation handling.

It is also important that you have a strong commitment, can structure your work, and enjoy taking initiative within given regulations. You see solutions in problems and can pick up on others' needs. Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is required to succeed in your work.
The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the currently valid security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
