Your role

Saab Aeronautics Electrical Workshop is now looking for more operators in wire harness cutting to strengthen our team. The department currently consists of approximately 70 electricians, six of whom work with wire harness cutting. Now you have the opportunity to become part of an engaged team that works in goal-oriented groups with a strong focus on 5S and continuous improvements.

As an operator in wire harness cutting, you play a vital role in production. Through various tasks, you contribute to ensuring the aircraft's electrical systems function safely and reliably. At Saab, you are offered a developmental role in a high-tech environment where quality, collaboration, and competence development are in focus. Your main tasks will involve cutting various types of wiring for cables and panels for aircraft. Since the scope of the cables varies, your days may be diverse, requiring collaboration with colleagues to complete tasks.

At the start, you will receive a short training in the area and then develop in the role with the help of a buddy. The workplace is in Tannefors, and the working hours are during the day.

Your profile

In this role, we place great importance on your personal qualities; you are patient, meticulous, and a team player. You can also take responsibility for and drive your work independently while following instructions and drawings. Through your positive attitude, you contribute to our good climate in the workgroup and are not afraid to ask for help from colleagues when needed to ensure the best results.

To succeed in the role, you have:

• Completed upper secondary education, preferably with a focus on technology or electronics.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills.
• Medical examination with approved color vision.
• An interest in details and quality, as well as a meticulous and quality-conscious work approach. Work experience in similar areas is also meritorious.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance assessment according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
