Your Role

In the Flight Technology area, we are responsible for the development of control systems, aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and performance. Here, we develop flight mechanical and aerodynamic models, calculate performance, and develop and integrate software and hardware for both the Gripen C/D, E/F, Saab's civil products 340/2000, and next-generation aircraft systems. We have many exciting projects ahead and need to grow in several areas.

Our assignments cover a wide range of technical directions, including but not limited to:

• Flight control computers, programming, control engineering, and control laws
• Flight mechanical and aerodynamic models
• Sensors, servos, and control sticks
• System safety
• Verification and validation

We are now looking for a project manager with both leadership and technical interest who wants to drive exciting and complex assignments within our area. Here, you will take responsibility for the entire project, i.e., lead and ensure that the correct delivery is carried out within the given time and budget. The projects span all the way from early concept development to testing, implementation, and further development of already delivered products.

Your Profile

As a person, you are driven and resilient, with the ability to drive projects to completion even when conditions change. You work in a structured manner and have an eye for quality, while being pragmatic when needed. You find it easy to collaborate and build trust, both within the team and with other functions. Since the role involves many interfaces, we value your communication skills highly – you express yourself clearly and professionally in both Swedish and English.

We believe you have a technical background and several years of experience in project management, preferably in roles where you have had technical responsibility, such as technical project manager, team lead, or similar. If you also have experience with budgeting or financial follow-up, it is a merit.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the security clearance regulations in force at the time. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
