We are currently looking for a Quality Engineer for an exciting consulting assignment with our client in the defense industry. This role is ideal for you if you want to work close to production and contribute to high manufacturing quality through operational and solution-oriented quality work, with a focus on purchased materials.

About the Role

As a Quality Engineer, you will serve as support for production regarding quality issues related to purchased materials. You will work closely with daily operations and ensure that deviations are handled efficiently to minimize impact on production and deliveries.

The role involves close collaboration with production, purchasing, design, and supplier quality, as well as active participation in improvement work within quality and processes.

Responsibilities

• Support production in the quality assessment of purchased materials.
• Handle material deviations in the production environment.
• Drive reclamations and root cause analyses together with suppliers and Supplier Quality.
• Ensure that corrective and preventive actions are identified, implemented, and followed up.
• Participate in and drive improvement work related to quality, processes, and flows.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of quality routines and working methods.
• Collaborate closely with production, purchasing, design, and other quality functions.

Your Profile

• 3 years of relevant experience in quality work within production or an industrial environment.
• Relevant academic degree or equivalent work experience.
• Good understanding of deviation management, root cause analysis, 8D, and risk analyses.
• Ability to work carefully, structured, and solution-oriented.
• Thrives in an operational role with many contact points and close collaboration with several functions.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

• Scope: 100%
• Location: Linköping
• Work Model: Primarily on-site with some possibility of remote work.
• Security Clearance: A security clearance check will be conducted before the start of the assignment and is a prerequisite for assuming the role.
