to apply for the job

SeaPattern is currently building a new specialist team for a safety-critical project. We are looking for engaged employees who want to help develop advanced technical solutions where quality, operational reliability, and delivery capability are at the center.

Here, you will have the opportunity to work in an environment where complex problem-solving, innovation, and collaboration are a natural part of everyday life. You will become part of an experienced team driven by creating robust systems for vital societal functions – where every delivery matters.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for developing and integrating the electrical systems that drive our turbine installations. The role covers everything from electrical system architecture and switchgear design to testing, commissioning, and technical support in the field.

You have overall responsibility for the electrical system throughout the entire development cycle, from the first prototypes to finished, commissioned systems. Your goal is to ensure robust, reliable, and high-performing solutions that meet current requirements and standards.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

  • Designing electrical system architectures for turbine platforms.
  • Integrating OEM motor drives and grid-connected inverter systems.
  • Designing low-voltage switchgear and electrical cabinets for three-phase systems.
  • Creating wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Supporting installation, commissioning, and testing on-site.

You will become part of a fast-paced engineering organization where collaboration, initiative, and personal responsibility are highly valued. In a typical project, you might work on selecting electrical components, designing switchgear layouts, troubleshooting systems during commissioning, or collaborating with colleagues to improve system reliability and performance.

Main areas of responsibility

  • Develop robust and safe solutions for electrical systems.
  • Design and commission electrical cabinets for low-voltage three-phase systems.
  • Ensure that systems comply with applicable standards and regulations for grid connection.
  • Participate in prototype development and field commissioning.
  • Create and maintain wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Contribute to bills of materials (BOM) and manufacturing documentation.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who combines solid technical competence with a practical and solution-oriented approach. You thrive taking responsibility, collaborating with others, and finding solutions to technical challenges in a dynamic development environment.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • A Master of Science or Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • At least five years of practical experience in electrical design or development of electrical systems.
  • Experience from the industrial, marine, or renewable energy sectors.

You have good knowledge of motor drives, frequency converters, and grid-connected electrical systems, as well as experience in designing and commissioning electrical cabinets. You are accustomed to producing clear electrical schematics and technical documentation and communicate fluently and professionally in both Swedish and English.

As a person, you are curious, engaged, and enjoy turning ideas into working solutions. Above all, you like building, testing, and further developing real systems, not just designing them on paper.

What we offer

At SeaPattern, you get the opportunity to work close to the technology while contributing to solutions that strengthen vital societal functions. We offer a dynamic work environment with competent colleagues, short decision-making paths, and great opportunities to influence both your own development and the success of the projects.

We value engagement, professionalism, and collaboration, and are looking for you who want to help build long-term solutions for the future.

Location: Linköping

Are you ready to take the next step and become part of a team working on some of the most exciting technical challenges right now?

We welcome your application to SeaPattern.
