Your role

Do you want to shape the future of aircraft production? As a Production Engineer in Assembly and Final Assembly, you will become a key player in the industrialization of the next generation of trainer aircraft within the T-7A program.

You are the link between design and production, ensuring that new designs are translated into efficient and quality-assured production solutions. In close collaboration with design, quality, and production, you contribute to stable and efficient manufacturing.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and produce production documentation, build sequences, and assembly methods.
• Industrialize new designs in collaboration with design, quality, and production teams.
• Provide technical support to production and drive improvements for both ongoing manufacturing and delivered products.

You will become part of an international team and collaborate closely with our colleagues in the USA and Boeing to develop joint working methods and ensure efficient production within the T-7A program.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have experience in production engineering and an interest in industrialization, aerospace technology, and technical development. You thrive in a technical and collaborative environment where problem-solving, quality, and continuous improvement are a natural part of everyday life. You are motivated by translating design into efficient and robust production.

We believe that you:

• Have a university degree in engineering or equivalent competence.
• Have experience in production engineering and preferably knowledge of IFS, 3DEXPERIENCE, DELMIA, CATIA, or paced production.
• Are self-motivated, proactive, and enjoy driving technical issues from idea to implementation.
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English and thrive in an international environment.

The position requires you to undergo and pass security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
